1) Do you take reservations?

We take reservations online (preferred) and by phone on a limited basis. Reservations and carryout orders are suspended on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These days are first come, first seated we utilize a waitlist. The parties are called in order whenever tables become available. We do not offer call ahead lists. Guests must be present to add their names to the wait list.

2) Do you Give out recipes?

Sorry, we do not give out any of our recipes and we do not have a cookbook at this time.

3) Can I order a gift certificate and have it sent to someone?

Yes! Visit our Shop page where you can order gift cards or t-shirts online using your major credit card.

4) Does Detroit Vegan Soul give donations to causes or non-profit organizations?

We have very limited funds available to support the community, animal rights, the environment & promote veganism.

5) Do you offer gluten free items?

We have a selection of gluten free options marked GF o our menu. Ask your server for a copy of our Allergen Sensitivities menu when you are seated. 

6) I have a severe allergy. Can I dine at your restaurant or eat your desserts?

We offer a broad selection of transitional vegan foods and unfortunately we are not able to guarantee total allergen isolation. Our kitchen uses shared equipment, utensils and fryer oil.Those with serious allergies should consider the risks before choosing to enjoy our foods/desserts.

7) My child is allergic to soy, nuts, eggs, and dairy. Can we order a cake?

Our vegan cakes are not made with eggs or dairy (milk or butter). However, many of our desserts contain almond milk and some contain soy. Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee total allergen isolation. Those with serious allergies should consider the risks before choosing to enjoy our foods/desserts.

8) Do you offer cooking classes?

Sorry, we do not offer cooking classes at this time.

9) Do you cater?

We offer catering for pick up only.  Visit our catering page to place an order.

10) Do you do something special for birthdays?

We offer a complimentary dessert for our guests celebrating birthdays. Just ask your server.
